Back Track // Can't Sleep.

Howdy folks, this isn't going to be a very interesting or exciting post I'm afraid but thought I'd do a little late night upload. 

Been having a little trouble sleeping and decided to have a little clean out of my computer and came across some old photographs I took at the zoo about two years ago now. I used them and still actually have them in my portfolio (which I might do a post about if that would interest anyone/make a good post) and images that I'm still really happy with so yeah. Thought I would post a couple of them as at the moment I haven't really done any out of uni work and with a confidentiality contract we've done at uni I can't really show anything for that so enjoy some cute animals.

Botanical Gardens

So these are the final images I edited from the Botanical Gardens. I really wanted to work and mess around with the colour balance in my images and took it to a bit of an extreme with these. I'm actually really happy with the way they turned out. The more I look at them the more I feel they give off a kind of 'trippy' vibe especially with the first two images. 

Having a tumblr I often see pictures online with quite high contrast and bright colours and find myself always being really drawn to them which kind of inspired me to try and create something myself.

I know its a little late but I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and new year. 

So finally I managed to sort out the space and loading issue with my blog and can finally start uploading some pieces of work and doing a couple of posts I've been planning and hopefully they will be more frequent as I have been slacking lately. I am going to try and do a lot more project this year and am really excited about a couple of collaborative pieces I've got planned with some very talented friends so this is good. Lets reconvene.
